Love In Central Standard Time

Verse 1:

I sailed across the Gulf of Mexico

just to see which way the winds would blow.

I never ever thought that I would find

Love in Central Standard Time.

Verse 2:

I saw her standing in a crowded bar

she was so lovely that she stole my heart

She looked right through me as she drank her wine

I fell in love in Central Standard Time

Bridge:

Her skin so soft to the touch

a fragrance of roses and such.

One kiss from her ruby lips

I shake to my finger tips.

Verse 3:

Sweet Rosalita in her long white gown,

coal black hair and those big eyes so brown

She did things to me that blew my mind

and we made Love in Central Standard Time.

Bridge:

Her skin so soft to the touch

a fragrance of roses and such.

One kiss from her ruby lips

I shake to my finger tips.

Verse 4:

She came aboard and we sailed out to sea

now my friends wonder what’s become of me.

I just can’t go back to my old life

since I found love in Central Standard Time

Instrumental Break

Verse 5:

Tequila sunsets with a slice of lime

then we make love in Central Standard Time.

We’ll love and die in Central Standard Time
