Headin' Out

Headin' Out

Verse 1:

Headin’ out with a baby of mine

Drivin’ south down I-65

I don't know where I am, it looks like Birmingham

but I won't give a damn I'm just headin’ out

Verse 2:

I let the top down north of Mobile

The only sound was the wind and the wheels

I turned my music on some old Buffett song

and I just sail along when I'm headin’ out

Chorus:

I’m headin’ out to find a little peace of mind

A secret hideaway where I can pass another day

I'm looking for a place where I can have a little space

where nobody knows my name with a scenery change

I'm headin’ out

I'm headin’ out

Verse 3:

I worked hard all week to get to this day,

now the weekend is my time to play.

Give me some sun and sand a cold drink in my hand

Well that’s my "Promised Land" when I'm headin’ out.

Chorus:

I’m headin’ out to find a little peace of mind

A secret hideaway where I can pass another day

I'm looking for a place where I can have a little space

where nobody knows my name with a scenery change

I'm headin’ out

I'm headin’ out

I'm headin’ out

I'm headin’ out
